| I just noticed the XV-01 diff and the SC10 diff are identical
Well...not completely identical, but they have the same exterior dimensions, the same bearing sizes, the same outdrive sizes, and the same gear pitch and tooth count. I'm not sure what to do with this information, but I thought I'd post it here in case anyone has any interesting ideas. I know Hot Racing makes a hard-anodized aluminum diff case for the SC10. I doubt the XV-01 would need something that strong, but maybe there's someone out there who's built their XV-01 to ridiculous specs. Or maybe there's someone out there who would like to run the TA-06 rear spool (which also fits the XV-01) in their SC10, I dunno. Something to think about, anyway. |
