Default XV-01 chassis

Has anyone tried removing a section of the chassis to allow the arms to have more movement downwards?

It doesn't seem like it. I expect it would begin to have clearance issues with the steering rod ends limiting steer angle and the stock dogbone driveshafts beginning to skip out of the cups at extreme angles.

That's indeed a problem. At extreme angles, the universals starting having problems. But one can still scrabe some material out of the front hubs and the lower chassis so it allows for a bit more movement without causing too much problems.

This body was intended for my Senton but maddeningly the wheelbase was short. I already had 2 bodies for the rally but it fit like a glove so.
