Default Traxxas Ken Block offroad conversion

Yeah the dreaeded and hated Traxxas Ken Block car, but I saw potential in it. Not as a drifter, but as an offroad basher. It turned out better than expected. This thing is loads of fun.

PARTS LIST
Traxxas Ken Block Gymkhana car
stock Mini E-Revo stocks and springs
HPI rally tires 26mm
HPI white 26 mm 6 spoke wheel 0mm offset
second Traxxas series 1 battery
Traxxas parrallel dual battery connector

Stock Photo

After the conversion

Testing and having fun

Had to test how waterproof the stock electronics are

Personally I don't like it because of the scale and re-boxing of the same chassis over and over. Otherwise I think they look cool.

Everyone that buys them expect them to handle like Ken Block's real car. And it does not. Its a great platform in my opinion but it most certainly not a drifter.

I love my Mini E-Revo. It's incredibly fun, so I thought I would give this a try. And boy am I glad I did, I was smiling ear to ear driving it.

I set my non Block Fiesta for rally use, it's kinda fun and could hold it's own against a bunch of 1/10 Slashes on a dirt oval in a friend's back yard and took to the air surprisingly well

I know this is very old but sweet setup. Just picked up one of these with a Castle brushless system in it. Going to seriously consider this upgrade.
