Default FF-03 goes rally

Here's my version of the FF-03 RR (Road and Rally)

I have so much FF-03 spares that I'm able to build another car but set up in rally form. I only bought new set of 60mm shocks and cut some areas at the chassis which stops the droop and allowed the chassis to raise.

Front ride height is 2.2cm and rear stand at 2.5cm.

Used these hop-up parts I have:
54223 Aluminum Motor Plate
54234 Aluminum Spur Gear Mount
54235 Aluminum Racing Steering set
54258 FF-03 Carbon Rear Damper Stay
53823 Aluminum Wheel Hub 5mm
53993 TA-05-IFS Aluminum Rocker Arm Set
54495 RM-01 aluminum servo mount
84410 Carbon Steering Plate
Carbon Reinforced bumper mount
Carbon Reinforced Upper Arm Mount
Carbon Reinforced Rear bulkhead
Carbon fiber bumper support - DIY
Carbon fiber rear deck stiffener - DIY
Carbon fiber ESC tray - DIY
Carbon fiber servo/RX tray - DIY
Carbon fiber battery holder - Not sure what brand

With electronics

With my FF-03 Pro-R (a heavily modified FF-03 Pro)

Very nice what bodies are you going to use.

For the RR, it's a Lancia Delta Integrale. For the Pro-R, VW Scirocco.

Both bodies should be here in a few days. Can't wait to paint them

Both chassis look great! The FF03 looks great even without a body imo.

I agree! I love how it looks and a great performing chassis too.

I modified my Pro heavily. Changed/upgraded so many parts and still waiting for a few ones to arrive to complete my upgrade plan. So far, here it is...

Oh recently upgraded to Sanwa RX-482 (antenna-less)

Beautiful cars! Nothing cooler than a mix of anodized aluminum and carbon fiber!

Yesterday's fun at the track...

I'm very, very impressed with my FF-03RR. It performed really well and would even surpass the XVs (There were 3 XV-01 I ran/raced with).

Joined rally race last Sunday. I didn't win any trophy but it was all fun. I finished 4th overall on the stock rally car class out of 16 cars. My car was the only FWD in the class, the rest were 4WD (XV-01, TT-02, TA-02, TA-03)

The silver can motor is just too slow. The cars can't make the jump even when coming from a long stretch. I suggested to race with at least 23t or 21t next time. The organizers will discuss.

Very cool pics - looks like a blast! Lots of cool rides on those tables.

Someone raced rally with a TA03? Assuming it was a front motor TA03F since it's very similar/spiritual predecessor to the XV01 - how did the belt hold up?

Nope it wasn't a TA03F but the normal TA03 with the motor placed before the rear gearbox.

Thanks!
