| 2010 HPI Racing/HB RCCrawler Nationals!
As promised right after the 2009 Proline World Championships it is January 1st and we are giving you the info for the 2010 USRCCA Nationals. We are proud to announce that we will be holding the event this year in beautiful Disney, OK at Hogans Offroad park. The event will run from September 9th through September 12th. Please read the itinerary before you plan your trip depending which classes you are running you may not need to be present for all those days. We are very honored to announce that Brian Parker (drivnmf) of RECON will be the MC and course designer for the weekend. Brian is very well known across the nation for laying down some of the most challenging and fun courses in the industry and his off course antics should make him a great MC for the event. This years competition is going to be bigger and better than it has ever been, you are not going to want to miss out. Even if you are not competing Disney, OK is going to be the place to be September 9th-12th. If somehow you cannot make the event, have no fear as RCC will be there live bringing the best online coverage right into your homes. Itinerary: September 9th 0800 Tech for the 2010 LCQ (last chance qualifier) 0830 2010 LCQ begins. Note: The LCQ is for all drivers that did not qualify by any other means. We will take at least the top 15 drivers from the LCQ and bump them into Saturdays 2.2 competition. This number will can go up depending on how many clubs fill their spots, but it will not go down, top 15 is a guarantee. The LCQ will have a reduced entry fee, if you qualify for the main event that entry will be applied to your entry for the main event the remainder of which will be due on Saturday morning at tech. September 10th 0800 Tech begins for the 1.9 and Super classes 0830 1.9 and super competition begins September 11th 0800 Tech begins for the 2.2 Competition class. 0830 2.2 Competition begins September 12th 0830 Tech for all finals course participants 0900 1.9 Finals course begins 1000 Supers final course begins 1100 2.2 Finals course begins 1200 Awards Ceremony 100 Event teardown and scaler bash. Note: each day if you have not checked in/teched by 9am you will receive a 50 on course #1, every hour after that you will receive a 50 on each course until you check in. All drivers need to be on time each day. General Info: Disney Oklahoma is located just about as close to the center of the country as we could get in North Eastern Oklahoma, about an hour and a half drive from Tulsa. Tulsa has an international airport with car rentals and would be the best place for everyone to fly into. We are currently working with several hotels in the area to determine our host hotel, as soon as we get that info I will get it posted here. __________________________________________________ _______________ Event Qualifiers: (names will be added as events run) __________________________________________________ _______________ 2009 Proline World Championships (top 5 from each class qualify) 1.9- JAY ROBINETTE AUSTIN DUNN JARED BOONE BRANDON COONCE JAKE HALLENBECK Supers- RANDY STORM JAMES CURUSO NABIL JAMALI JAKE WRIGHT DUSTIN SIGFRIED 2.2- AUSTIN DUNN JAKE HALLENBECK JAY ROBINETTE JEFF GILL GREG SINCLAIR __________________________________________________ _______________ 2009 Crawlapooza, October 9th-11th, 2009 (top driver from each class) 1.9-CHRIS DEAN 2.2-JOHN RIPPLINGER Super-JOE DURARD __________________________________________________ _______________ Motorama U.S. Indoor RC Rockcrawling Challenge Feb 20-21, 2010 (top driver from each class) 1.9-Gatekeeper 2.2-Del Monte Super-SDS Customz __________________________________________________ _______________2010 2.2 Midwest Challenge, March 6th (top driver from each class) 2.2-RockShow __________________________________________________ _______________ 2010 East Coast Championship, April (top driver from each class) 1.9-Trace 2.2-86Jeep Super-JoeBruiser __________________________________________________ _______________ Battlegrounds 2, May 22nd-23rd (top driver from each class) 2.2-Rockshow __________________________________________________ _______________ 2010 Axial West Coast Championship, June 25th-27th (top driver from each class) 2.2-SDSCustomz __________________________________________________ _______________ 2010 Vanqiush Products La Guerra en Rocas Rojos, July (top driver from each class) 1.9-Jeremy Toney 2.2-Mike Rosenthal Super-JOHN RIPPLINGER __________________________________________________ _______________\ 2010 Northwest Goldendale Qualifier, August (top driver from each class) 1.9-JOHN RIPPLINGER 2.2-JOHN RIPPLINGER Super-JOHN RIPPLINGER __________________________________________________ _______________ 2010 Last Chance Qualifier, September 9th, 2010 (top 15 minimum) 2.2-TBD __________________________________________________ _______________ Where to stay This year the host hotel is the Holiday Inn in Vinita.
