well moab is buetiful and has more rocks and stuff you can do but..........

las vegas has cheaper and better deals not to mention the extre perks of just being there

i think they are evenly stacked with Vegas in the lead by hair

Las Vegas is sucks AZZ. I only go there when I absolutely have too. It would be my last choice. What perks? hotter, stinky, over populated, smog?

In Moab I stay at slick rock campground or one of the others in a cabin A/C but simple for 30.00 a night. eat at some of the local diners for around 8.00 a meal.

Maybe if you got away from the "by the Hour" hotels you stayed at you might see that there is more to Vegas.

Most of the SERCRC guys drove 27 hours non-stop over 1800 miles-ish' last year, and from what I've heard they're doing it again this year.

I was actually really impressed with Vegas when I was there- it's a cool town. Definitely the nicest really big city I've been to. I'd take it over New York or LA (well California in general) any day...

I stay away from your recommended areas such as the titty bars and such, not my cup of tea. Ive been to vegas about 2 times a year for the last 20, seen all the attractions and been to most of the hotels (never to your by the hour kind though) actually have missed going the last several years

Gone to 11 concerts there and many a Mint 400 back in the day

Its still just a big city with a very high electric bill. The only thing it has going for it are several of the buffets in town.

Any time I have a reason to go to stay away from a big city I do.

Like Unimoger said "not my cup of tea"

I enjoy Vegas once every few years to go see shows and toss dice at a craps table. I'm even less of a gambler than I am a drinker, so outside of shows and attractions, there isn't much more to Vegas that is inviting for me.

Mind, I've not tried any of the trails there either though.
