Me Too.

This could be just me, but has anyone else had glitching when multiple Spektrums run is close to each other ( 5-10 feet apart ). It happened in my backyard at our Crawl-B-Q.

Seriously guys, if you bring a AM radio and have issues during a comp, you cannot blame anyone other then yourself. Depending on the situation we will most likely stop the timer and give you a fix penalty so you can fix your 1960's radio.

I saw this at the Axial comp, Axlesnapper showed me his truck wigging out and he was running a DX3.

where did he have the antenna? I know if I have wires crossed over mine or next to metal chassis parts and someone else is running spektrum next to me it sometimes wigged out. now I moved it to isolate it and have the antenna wrapped around one of the body mount posts (plastic one). Have not had any issues since

I'm not sure where he had his mounted, just watched it wigg out and he looked at me and said, spectrum shouldn't do that.

Love the attitude

How about next year, you BAN 1960's technology.

Oh, but then you wouldn't have something to to talk smack about, never mind I see why you allow it.

Got ya.

Do you honestly think that the best thing for everyone is to show up with AM radios?

There are over 100 competitors going to be there, some traveling from over 2,700 miles away. There is much better technology available to people, why wouldn't they use it? This hobby costs money, traveling to these large events costs money, there are a lot better places to save a dollar when competing on a National level than with cheap radio gear.

And no one is talking down to you by saying that they are using Nomadio or Spektrum radios, they are simply letting Sven know so he can fill out his list.

OK,

I switched over from an AM radio to a Spektrum, that is what I will bring with an AM back up.

Jason... you got me all wrong.

Of course I don't think everyone should show up with a AM.
Its my loss for going with my winch and Cutbrakes on AM.

This is not what my point is about.

I NEVER thought anyone was talkin down to me.
I could not care less about what someone else thinks of me.

I Obviously misinterpreted Sven's post when the title of the thread is "Frequency Management," that to me means a list of the crystals.
Since all the spektrum radios don't interfere with each other... then why would they need to be managed?

People are REALLY loose with the whole FCC thing around here...
