Default Is there a Bully v1?

I’ve always seen the Bully called a Bully 2, does that mean there was a Bully 1?

I’m considering buying a used Bully but the seller isn’t aware if it’s a 2 or not and I wasn’t sure either. I wanted to make sure it was a v2 if there are multiple versions so I can have the newest one. If anyone could articulate the differences b/t the two versions I’d appreciate it so I know what I’m going to buy. Thanks!

I'm thinking of getting rid of my old Axial XR10 (discontinued) and getting a Bully. I'd like to get the v2 if possible. Also, what's a fair price for a bully with no electronics, wheels or tires? I've been out of the hobby for 10 years so I'm not sure what's fair for things. Ideally I can just bring over my electronics and get new wheels and tires.

I'm not sure but I think the difference may just be the axles themselves. Sorry I dont know how to spot the difference.
This thread may have some hints Bully Secrets " Classified "

RC4WD does still sell the Kit BTWhttps://store.rc4wd.com/RC4WD-Bully-...MaAvi5EALw_wcB
I dont think other retailers sell the kits though, I actually thought they were discontinued.

Some folks are getting nostalgic for the XR10 so it may be worth more than you think.

Hmm...that's good to know! Do you think it'd be worth selling my XR10 and getting a Bully instead? What do you think my XR10 would go for? I haven't seen many for sale so that's why I'm asking.

Sorry I dont know what an XR10 would go for just that some parts are super scarce or non existent. You may need to find the right buyer. Should you sell it? thats up to you.

I just looked on Ebay for completed listings but there was only 1 that sold for $350, a few that didnt sell were listed at $600 and another for $1200. Completed listings would be the metric to use though. I have a feeling there have to be more that you could look at but I didn't see a way of setting the time frame for the completed listing search, I just used the 'completed items' filter on the left side after searching.

I just found an old listing fo the XR10 kit on Amain and damn that thing was only $170 https://www.amainhobbies.com/axial-x...i90017/p176994

The chassis is not RC4WD.

The axles are hard to see. Bully 1 axles were cast and had a shiny finish to them.

They have been out of production for many years.

Bully 2 axles are a matte black.

Here's a new picture https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AJN...ew?usp=sharing

Judging from your description, I'd say they are Bully 2's. The chassis looks the same as what RC4WD offers. Why isn't the chassis a RC4WD? What would it be?

That does look exactly like a Bully 2 chassis to me.

So it’s sounding like it’s Bully 2 axles and chassis? I attached a new pic and from the looks of it flipped over, the axles appear matte. If you look at the top left part of the picture you can tell it’s matte. I just wanted to ensure that they’re v2’s before purchase.
