Default Bully 2...BeetleJuice-Beetlejuice

Ok, received my axles last week and stated building...I mocked up a KK chassis first and found the Bully 2s dont like narrow set ups..so I took my daughters Beetlejuice..SHAFTY and removed all the axial stuff and fit all the Bully 2 axles under it...all that is left to do is disassemble and locktite the axles...and change the shock oil..
I tested it tonight on my backyard course and it seemed to do good, but needs some test and tune time..
BY THE WAY....this is set up as a novice rig for my 10 year old daughter so NO dig in this rig..you can see the build up of the SHAFTY in the ax section..so hear you go....Mamba Max,2 55 tekin motors,HS-5955 servo,Losi MRC receiver and transmitter,2100 3 cell lipo, axial wheels with panthers, losi 4" shocks with white springs

Kewl Build

What issue(s) did you have with the KK and your Bully's?

I run a KK 4.0 with my Bully's.

Thats pretty common on the bullys. Spacing them out is the price you pay for 8mm wide gears in the gearbox. Look good.

Looks good Marc! You gotta hit Enter after each of your image links though so we don't have to scroll three miles to the right to see all the pictures and read the posting.

Lets see a video!

That's Kewl!

Good for us that it did'nt work to your liking as we would have never gotten to see this setup if it had

alright...took it out tonight and let the daughter drive it...i refrained from taking the controller out of her hands so i could see how it crawled..
She loved it and I didnt even drive my rig..I let my son drive it with the rule that he was not to use the dig..thay played follow the leader and all i did was direct them to some lines and with a sharp pair of eyes...watch the Bully 2s KICK ARSE
Very impressed how they did..mind you i set this rig up with NO DIG..as this is a novice rig for my daughter..im running tekin 55s on 11.1 3s lipo..
the wheel speed was good and the torque even better..the mamba max was great and the panthers twisted up well with traction..would like to show video but have no idea how to get the cell phone video to post up...anyone wants to help i will text you the vid so you can help..
anyways...my daughter liked the bully 2s compared to her previous ax10 running gear..and so was I
going to keep teaching her to use the "clod stall".. and teaching her to control her steering..
Thanks again to RC4WD for offering these axles at the price they did...it gave me the opportunity to build my daughter a MOA that not evrybody has(right now)..

NOW RC4WD just need some fancy stickers to display whats under the PINK BEETLEJUICE..hint hint nudge nudge..oh yeah the shinny axles are BLINDING in the sun..HOLY COW !!!!!!

OK...just an update....
we have run 10 2100 packs thru it and let a gaggle of guys drive it at my last GTG..
had great reviews with the way it crawled...and even Kolby..said he liked the way the panthers worked...(see kolby Panthers do work) !!!
with all this running I have had only a couple of issues which i believe are just inherent with MOAs..
2 loose steering knuckle bolts....just reapply locktite and problem fixed
rear motor got pushed into gear mesh..readjusted and works great
one lock nut on the wheel hub stripped out..replaced it..all ok now!!

and the Beetlejuice chassis has held up to many high falls....with only minor scratches

all in all...looking forward to the season to start here to see how my 10 year old daughter does with this amazing novice rig....

thanks to Jeremy..chassis kicks butt
thanks to RC4WD for great Bully 2 axles..
and thanks to the sponsors of the AZ shootout..for donating a Mamba Max ESC...that my daughter won and is using in her crawler

Yup, those are pretty common. Eventually the knuckles will settle down a little but keep your 2mm or 3mm hex driver in your pocket anyway just in case. Also a nut driver to keep the wheels tight.

Hey!! we never figured out FOR SURE if it was the bloody panthers that made the rig work! I am sure it is more to do with the heavy Bulley's and the great chassis.. yeah thats it
