Default Old timer's new bully

So a little while ago my dads truck (Old Timer) got stolen. at that point i needed to build him another truck.i was faced with a decision, build him another axial out of my old stuff, or build him the baddest ass moa around.

I CHOSE THE LADDER!

its not quite done but i think its ready to be posted!

it is made up of the new Fubar prototype chassis (xtra wide 2.75")
Bully 2 axles with rc4wd steering
some losi shocks with traxxis short shafts
stock length axial links (bent in the rear strait in the front)

i would like to thank John at Fubar and Kevin at TCS for all the help getting this truck rolling

James, your Dads new Rig is looking good. It sucks that some flake ripped
off his old one at the Shoot Out. I'm building two new Fubars myself. The
1.9 is RTR, and the 2.2 berg is almost there. We need to get out and run
on some Rocks, but man the temps in AZ. are up there right now.

Nice Rig! Clean setup!

What springs are you using inside the Losi shocks? (if any?)

Looks good. Does the esc or battery hit on the upper links as the suspension travels? Looks pretty close.

it is running TCS soft internals.

no everything clears nicely, but i had to use the upper mounting holes on the chassis for the upper links

Sucks that his last rig was taken...looks like he got a better deal out of it though

You have to run the rear links like that to clock the axles and keep them from hitting the gearbox? what about an arch right before the axle mount?

exactly, the straight links would have worked but i wanted to clock the axle(motor up) so i needed the clearance.

i did it this way to 1 keep them lower,

2 the links will be lower so if he wants to run some other body later he wont have links sticking up higher then the axle,

and 3 to get full droop out of the axle without hitting the chassis support i think if i put a bend at the back it would hit
