Default Any other Bullies at Rocas Roja?

If so how did you do? I got a disappointing 56th (top that)
I feel I wasn't wide enough for the terrain. Compared to a berg I was easily a 1/2 narrower.

I was there.....but I did horrible...I should have took my old rig and not my rig that only had 4 packs ran through it..
since being back I have already started to tweak my rig...
even after the comp I tried the comp lines and could not work my way up.....I think I grabbed 75th-76th???

I dont feel it was width that was my problem...mine was all the steep climbs and getting traction...I was running rovers...but they were very worn out...the guys with fresh rovers were walking lines and getting traction waaay more then my worn out rovers..

I feel you! I'm new to this Bully also! I switched to Losi claws the night before and I wished I would have stayed rovers!

well my other rig was a bully rig too so I'm not new to bully's......but it was all dialed in and how I like it...sprung...
I tried this new bully rig with droop and it killed me!!! maybe I set my rig to low?
really I think my problem was drive time on the new rig....you really need to know your rig for a comp of this level.

hopefully next year I can at least finish one course!!!!

I like droop, I just can't seem to build a shock mount that can hold up to it. I broke another one tonight...2 days before a comp!

Its not the shock mount its the shock itself. 1/4inch of fuel tubing on the shock shaft outside to dampen the impact will do wonders. I had the same issue on my old shafty blackjack.

I had about 3/16" on the front & about 7/16" on the rear shocks. I guess it just wasn't enough damping for the front. I rebuilt the front mount. It'll get a trial by fire at tomorrow's comp. If it works out as well as I think it will, I'll do the same to the rear.
