Hey guys, Tired of popping driveshafts and tranny gears, etc., so I think it may be time to go MOA. Definitely will be the Bully2's, but I need to be budget friendly. I have an extra Black Widow chassis sitting around (LOVE the one on my current ax10 comp rig), and was wondering if there is any reason why I couldn't use it to build a Bully rig. I did a search, but couldn't find where anyone has done this before. I know I will probably have to fabricate all the links, but that's no biggie. What's the consensus from you guys, try it, or forget it? Thanks!

what i did when building my bully was also look in the berg section tyo see what they were running. i went with a totally new chassis with vanquish and h\am having good results. most guys are running the lighest chassis possible since the bullys do weigh more then the bergs but in all reality the setups are simular. same electronics same chasis same tires different offset of rims. do your reasearch in both sections you should easly find someone running a blackwidow berg. i dont see why it wouldnt work the only problem i see is the bottom skid is longer then most moa chassis and you might have motor and axle houseing issues with it depending on how you set everything up. you allready have one laying around try it and if it doesnt work try one of the inexpenisve proven chassis out there like the skeeter or cdws new chassis. its all about trial and error and what will work the best with your driving style.

long as the lower links are on the VERY end of the chassis/skid you should be fine....and it looks like they are on the BW.. post up some pics when you get the build going

Okay, I think you guys have convinced me. I can save enough $ by using my BW to buy my motors and esc, so I think I'll go for it. I'll try to get some pics up for you as I build. Thanks! Last edited by papabash; 08-13-2009 at 07:26 AM.

I would like to see a Black Widow Bully. My buddy runs the black widow on his berg and it works great.
