Default Aaahhhhhh!

Why must the gear cases be so HUGE!? I hate trying to make links mount up and not bind. I have read almost all the build threads but what's the easy way? I was thinking about taking the dust covers off or making lexan ones. But the motor causes some issue to, it's just a pita. Rant over lol

The SWX lower links are to short. The Zero-T should bolt right up if your using the High Clearance Links that KK Uses.

Ya I know there to short, I made links but to clear the axle I had to space it out so much the rod ends would bind on the chassis plates and not articulate smoothly. I bought the truck used (axles, chassis and all links) and for lower links I think they are revo pushrods, they clear ok. I just don't like the torsion.

On a side note, are you offering your helstrom chassis with all the links like you are with the havoc? I was cosidering your chassis to.

I don't think you get it. The SWX Skid is to long and forces you to run Shorter Lower Links. With lower links you can not clear the Gear Box's. With a shorter skid. Like s 2in Skid like mine and KK's. The Links are angled less and give more Room. If you run a High Clearance Lower Links. You can turn them out just a tad to help Clear.

I use the Kamikaze 4.0 with a skid I built myself and it works fine. You could probably pick up a scrap piece of delrin sheet cheap and make one that works fine with your swx.

I run the hellstorm on my bully and love it. I placed 3rd last comp which was my best finish with the setup. I have a havoc on the x-mas list for next season. I defiantly would recomend the Hellstorm and I don't make a profit of saying that JK. JP customs makes really good products
