It really depends on a bunch of things whats gonna work well for shocks.

The main ones are your chassis, what fits your driving style, and what type of rocks you normally run on.

Right now im running Traxxas GTR's with Brown Jato springs in the front and Losi's with traxxas progressive springs in the rear on a modified Havoc chassis. 100wt with a 2mm hole drilled in the front pistons and 25wt with stock pistons in the rear.

I use Traxxas XL shocks with Losi Gold springs...

I run two Medium AE buggy shocks internally sprung under the pistons on my new chassis,, http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showp...&postcount=148

Im running RC4WD's X11 piggybacks.. dont really need them... but the length (91mm) fits my chassis ( KK zero3.5) perfectly...It gives me about 60* of articulation..and like 2.625" ground clearance.
