Thanks Frank.

Jetboat actually has a plate for the Super Bullys that he makes.....it is a variation of this 2.2 unit. He utilizes Aluminum as well....while I like to design in Delrin. Eventually I may do something that is a different take on it....but right now he is the contact for this type of part for the supers.

I got some from the local hardware store. They were Phillips head ones, but they worked. (Ace hardware)

In the past, I have gotten them from 2 different sources:

1. Hobbytown USA. They had actually 35mm, and I just chopped them down to 30. I think that I paid $4 for the 4 pack of screws...but It may have been a hair cheaper.

2. McMaster Carr is where I now get 90% of all my hardware. Look up www.mcmaster.com and then part number 91292A022 . These are under $4 for 50.

McMaster will have stuff to you FAST!! I wish that I knew that you were having issues sourcing the screws before I sent out your order at 10:30am yesterday.....I could have tossed a few in there. (Maybe I will have to look into an "option" of including the harder to get hardware for a small upcharge...I just figured that most of us have a bin full of M3 hardware...so why send/charge for even more.) I hope that the sources above help you get the screws.

McFadden-Dales Industrial Hardware is where i get 99% of mine. I actually havent ever bought hardware online until the rc4wd Ti stuff went on sale but there are dozens of online shops that can source it for you, mcmaster-carr is one of the favorites for all the crawler guys.

Looks good!!

I am curious how each person who uses this mount will do their links. So far I have seen 3 variations in link placement. It is just interesting that giving 3 different people a set of parts that they will get utilized in 3 different ways. This is so common in this hobby....very cool.

Mine required a dremel, some screws, traxxas ends, 4mm allthread, 5/16 stainless tube, one TLT link mount and a TORCH. Pics uploading now

Edit: Pics are uploaded. Full Details HERE.

So I am guessing that you built some new links???

EDIT: I see that you got VERY creative. That is 4 different builds by 4 different people. Nice build thread.

I plan on having some by the end of the week.

A few weeks ago my wife was in Tacoma....She keeps saying "Why don't we move to that area???" She loves that entire area.

The servo horn is closest to the gearbox in the middle.
