Default VP Wheel Offsets for Bullys

I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find the exact answer I was looking for.

I'm looking at getting some VP DH's for the front and 1.00 SLW's for the rear. Right now I have the stock RC4WD wheels on my Bully, which I believe are 1.5" wide.

I'd like to get the front a little wider than it currently is, and keep the back about the same, hopefully finding a good balance between side hill ability and getting through gates.

So, with that, can anyone offer suggestions on the hub offsets to use for the DH's in front and SLW's in rear?

Thanks,

EXW

I have 1.0 SLW's with 600s on all 4 corners and they are a little narrow in the front but the rear seems to be about perfect. Rear track width with Rovers is about 10inches with the 600s. I have some 725s coming for the front. I am not sure about what offset for your DH's though.

Hope that helps

Ethan, I'm running 725's up front and 600's in the rear with the .7 SLW's. One of the best things I've done to my Bully

Lextronix - That helps a lot. I'm running Rovers too and 10" for the rear width is what I'm looking for.

Thanks Mica. So it looks like 600's for you also.

So, probably 600's for the rear, now onto the front:

I want to go with the DH's in front for the easy weight changes. I believe the Bullys are the same width as Axial axles. I got this from VP's site:

DH Offset / Axial Track Width

335 / 9.25
460 / 9.50
585 / 9.75

Also, they list the SLW with 600 Offset as 9.05 track width. So, if that equals out 10" with Rovers from the above post, then:

335 = 10.20"
460 = 10.45"
585 = 10.70"

Does that make sense? I'm probably missing something, but can anyone with DH's on a Bully comment and also give a suggestion on a good width to run?

Thanks,

EXW

I'm thinking about getting .7 SLWs, just wondering how different those numbers would be from the 1"

I'm running Procomps up front with 585 offsets and 1" SLW 600's in the rear. Track width is 10.25" and 10" respectively with RC4WD X-Locks.
