Made some changes...VP SLW 1.0" wheels (yes i need more 4-40 screws)
Front .725 and rear .600

Also painted up a simple Pro-line Bug Body

Add now the real reason for the body and wheels...

My son won't let me drive my bully.:-(
So I had to sell off some old vintage 1/8" on road gas cars to build a second bully.
Maybe this way I can drive one.

Also changing from 7 cell Nimh or 3S Lipo.

How did your siped Chisels perform? I just finished a heavy sipe job on some and think they are better than stock Rovers. I'm gonna do some Rovers as well. Might play with using different tires front and rear to see which acts better.

Like the new setup! Couple questions... I notice you have done the revo shock mod but they don't look like a losi shock... I could be wrong... also what springs you using on them? Curious if you've done the typical steering mod yet and if the off set on those slw's in the front is enough to keep the big rovers out of the shocks and links? Looking to get a set of slw's very soon but just unsure if they will work for my bully rig I'm building next or just on my axial?

It works good!! I need more driving time with it for some tuning. It keeps snowing here!!!!!!!!!!! Plus, I am still trying to adjust my driving to the chassis. It just drive differnet and has a little bounce, but it will climb! I am also thinking that I need to figure out how to make the front flex just a little easier...

I actually like them alot! They work much, much better siped!!!!! Much better.

I did some NOVA foams in my White Rover to see if I like them. Just need the snow to melt!

Check out this video. I can make it with the Chisels but not with my White Rover. This is super important testing!!!! There is always a kids slide at the comps. LOL

They are Traxxas #2660 shocks with Traxxas rod end mod (3mm not revo 4mm). I used the longest rod end in the package. If I could do it over, I would use the shorter ones. Spring are losi mini T springs.

I have not modded the steering yet. I didn't have time to set the end points last night...but I think I can still get the tires into the JP lower links. I hope VP makes some .800 hubs. You should be able to use on your axial, the question is just how wide you want it.

When/if I have room I am going mod the steering with the bully super ends and 12mm alum hubs.

Sweet, that's one of the things I need to do is change out one of the pinions. I really like the siped Chisels too, WAY better on slick surfaces.
I aggree, I can't imagine running a "crawler" on 4s lipo. I think courses should stay "crawler" designed. If I need to speed up that much I'll run the brushless Slash.:? Just "my" opinion tho. Some swear by the speed/power.

the key is to have POWER, torque and speed...4s=best of both worlds if you got a esc that can control it smoothly your golden!!
my dual BR-xl's with 41t's is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY smoother at start up..crawling and reverse start up then my dual FXR ever were or could be on 3s and 35t's...I dont need the power all the time.....but it's nice to have when I need it....my .02
