You dont need a better camera Randy. Just put the cross hair on the object and the auto focus will focus there. Would like to see a clearer pic of the moded knuckle.

i really like this idea. i managed to strip out 3 out of the 4 knuckle bolt holes and have been searching for a fix. i am running the original non beefy tubes. with those bushings how long do the 4mm screws need to be? i think i need to do this mod befor the vanquish comp at red rocks in 2 weeks.

I run 3mm ss helicoil thread inserts in all my axle tubes...I kept stripping them until I used the helicoil kit...it's not really a cheap fix..$60 for a kit that will do a bunch (probably 10 axle tubes) of axle so if you have some buddies to go in on it it will help cut the cost but it works well and I never have to worry about the threads stripping again.
