Default cheap bearing knuckle mod

Just did my bearing nuckle mod today. I used 3x6x2.5 flange bearings. This is a good one to do before stripping the axles out. It took me a while to find bearings this size that were not $5 a piece. I found them at avidrc.com. They were $1 per bearing plus shipping. I used a 15/64 bit to drill them out. This size drill bit allowed for a light press fit with channel locks. Thanks guys for the Idea. I just had to try it a little different with the stock bolts.

I have the exact same bearings waiting for this mod. A pic or two would be nice!

You're welcome! I was the first one... I think.

Thanks!

I modded mine today. Went with 3mm first. If I strip the threads I can still do the 4mm mod before having to change the axle tubes.
