Default Andy's Build thread

Well I was in my local hobby shop as they where closing and found a used crawler sitting in the corner and asked the shop owner if it was for sale he said it wasnt but he shortly said well maybe so I asked how much and I walked away with it for a sweet deal at $100

What I got
axles bully 2.2
wheels rc4wd beadlocks 2.2
chassis spv2
tires hot bodies
shocks apear to be venom

to get now to get it going suggestion very welcome I need to keep the budget very low

esc I have a traxxis xl5 laying around

motors I was thinking of getting the cheap rc4wd $10 nonrebuildable to get me going should I use a 55t I dont want it to be fast I am good with it going slow

pinions for the motors I was thinking 11 tooth

stearing servo HK15298B

radio turnigy gtx3 (so I can hack the firmware later)

future wants
hacked firmware for the radio
2 esc for dig control
better motors
custom tube frame

Nice buy.
See the rear tyres are Pro-Line Chisels.
Looks like a nice truck to start with.

Welcome to the Bully family.

Damm dude, Nice score
You can't buy the axels alone for that price so well done, and good luck with the build and running your new rig.

Great deal man , and a very good start for a comp rig.
There is plenty of info on these axles here as well as for the electronics.
