Josh's Bully 2

Ok here we go building another bully. Got some shiny new axles, knuckle weights, and a Rowdy racing battery tray. The outer weights are the add ons from Dlux. Drilled and tapped the Rc4wd weights so I could bolt the circular ones on. Thanks for the weights and tray Chris.

Thanks for the hospitality. I am loving these things. Its nice only wanting to change a few things on bully's instead of recreating them from the ground up.

welcome
Yes I agree, it's nice to be able to buy something without changing almost everything on them.

Mounted up a Jr servo it is the MPH83T. Also going to install some 30T torque master pro motors from Holmes Hobbies. I don't know it the servo arm is going to make it to the party. I think it is going to be too long for the short arms on the knuckles.

That arm will be fine
Same arm I'm running with no issue

I'll give it a try. If I have to turn down my epa its coming off. I set my steering up so I am using full throw.

Re: Josh's Bully 2

Yeah, I had to turn down my EPA a bit as well.

Re: Josh's Bully 2

I like to use all of the throw so I can take advantage of all of the force available.

Re: Josh's Bully 2

Me too but it goes too far and causes the tires to bind on the links, hence the turned down EPA.

Got the drag link and tie rod! Used Vanquish 105mm and 155mm 3\16" Ti rods.

Re: Josh's Bully 2

Just a slight bend on each end wahoo! Chris I caught your note on the servo getting moved over by the upgraded mount. I was going to try and work around it, but an extra 1/8" of room cannot be ignored.

Made a CF .125" for Chris or 3.17mm servo plate and spaced it up with two aluminum traxxas ball ends. Lots of room for shocks and links now! I wish the servo wire was out the other side. Might have to take it apart and fix that.

I received a short robitronics servo arm from TCS crawlers. I am able to get full steer with the innermost hole. I am really happy with this. I might be raising the servo up a little. It hangs down below the axle tube. I like the lowered CG. I don't like the vulnerability. I also love the ground clearance of these axles and want to take advantage of it.

I have the bottom of my servo flush with the bottom of the axle tube.

Where are you going to hang your battery?

Bigger question is where are the links and shocks going with all that steering?
