Default Remedy Bully2

So I jumped into the band wagon as well.....

Bought this beauty here after selling my SA XR10.

The spec
Bully2 Diff with knuckle weight and steering kit;
Remedy 3.5 Chassis;
HH Puller 400 motors 30T;
Dual BR-mini and BEC;
7950 Servo;
Ti lower link and alu uppers;
Creeper Bob Rear Ti Axle;
NCD Battery Mount, servo mount and electronics tray;
Kyosho Velvet shocks;
YTC 3 pieces wheel with Voodoo Silver and CI Foam;
4pls;

It weighed at 4.1lb (4.005 lb plus battery).... Not to bad consider it has all steel hollow balls and steel hardware, my aim is to lower it to sub 4 lb.

I am in the process of rebuilding it, I rebuild the shock, added a bladder and 50wt rear and 30 wt front. Also change the rod end so it is 90mm now and allow me to fit it up side down to lower the CG.

Any comment welcome...

I would redo the top skin to cover the carbon fiber and protect it. Otherwise you'll wear through it, or worse, shatter it and splinter it.

I don't have any more pic, the rig was dissembled as soon as I got it....

Today I am reworking the link to suit, the dimension is based on Cboggs' info, I like his father's remedy stance, so I will try to do the same. I basically need to move the chassis back about 5mm.

Does anyone have any idea to make a motor protector for the puller 400?

Yes welcome
Now enjoy

Thinking with some Alum balls and screws also change to some scx 10 shocks and you will be sub 4Lbs no problem.

I like to use film canisters because they are cheap, tough, easy to cut, and flexible enough to take a beating without shattering like pill bottles. Here is a link to the section of my build thread where I make some motor covers for my Puller 500's.

Spiitz' Bully 2 build a.k.a. "Hammond"

You can also pickup Delrin motor savr's from HH but they would need to be modified to fit your smaller can anyway.

Good looking rig!

Custom Fiber makes some sweet motor protectors. Believe he is making them for the 400 puller now as well. Contact Winnerone23 and he should be able to hook you up

A bit of update. Links.

Replaced steel screw with Ti and alloy (where possible) saved me 8 g at the front end. I also replaced the alloy post of the NCD tray with nylon one.

Back end will be less as there aren't many screws that can be replaced. Also replaced all hollow balls with alloy one.

On jig

its a roller now...

Full height

Fully compressed

Can drive upside down even with the small panther tire....

Next, I want to clock the front a bit more, so the tray is out of the way. and the spring feel a bit too stiff. But I will do them when its a runner.

Need to sort out the motor and electrics.

I reckon the velvet shock is a overkill in a crawler that weight 4lb and does not jump. So I move them to my Ultra4 rig that weigh 7.5 lb and does occasionally jump....

Just normal Voodoo Silver dot front and rear. In the earlier photo, there is a set of narrowed Panther Leopard. I rarely use them.

Getting another set of Narrowed Voodoo (silver front and blue rear) and will be mounted on CI 6 bolts wheel.
