My younger kid has astma and I have to free up some money to rebuild the ventilation system in my house. I'm not done with the hobby yet just have to miss some comps if the rig sells. And of course there is nothing better than building a new rig on the long dark winter evenings

Okey, sorry to hear that... That's what I call reason though. I've been trying to get you a buyer from here. Slowly, but steadily. Best regards to you family!

Thanks Samu. We found it out in time, so if all the conditions are taken care of there is good chance he will grow out of it. Any help selling the rig is much appreciated though

Had a few issues with my electronics - when I switched on the power, servo went nuts for the time esc's turned on and when the rig sat a bit longer in one place power on it jumped a little when you started to move again. I remembered that there are problems with Castle's later softwares for Micro Pro's so I turned back to the version 1.24 and rig acts smooth as silk again

We had our 3rd comp this weekend, I took 2nd place. When we were building our first courses the sun was shining but just as the comp started also the rain started and it rained straight two hours. Shows the best on the results of 2nd and 3rd corses. Otherwise was a good day with a great company

pics from the comp

We had our 4th comp last weekend, took my first win with Bully. This was also the first comp this year without rain . Rig worked great, the Voodoo's with CI foams are amazing. I pulled a few lines others couldn't (I'm the only one running Voodoo's at the moment)

PICS

I have been quiet for a while, because the season is over and I took a little brake from all of it. Hosting and judging all comps gets the motivation low for a short period .

So overall the season was good for me, finished second which is my personal best overall result. Rig will not go through any mayor changes for the next year - new body, new pair of front wheels and new motors.

Just received this package form a friend who returned from States:

A pair of Team Brood Chaos 35T motors
A pair of Voodoo Silvers with CI 6Bolt wheels and 6.0" CC foams
A pair of VP .350 hubs

My younger son got ill so I stayed home from work and had to find something to do. Decided to cut up my last seasons front tires to make rears for the next. I called them boldies as I cut the pins on a stock width tire and narrowed them later on. The one the left They still performed like a dream though

Center cut off

Narrowed the inner foam

Foams back in. Used the soft outer with narrowed medium tuning ring to get a bit more stiffness.

Closing up the tire

And ready they are

As a friendly indoor comp in Lahti, Finland is already in the 20th of February I started to put the rig back together. One suprise I did get was that for almost hole last season I ran the rig with 12" wheelbase. Somehow I managed to lose half an inch when I made new rear lower links after the first I made from 4mm Ti rod didn't hold up But as the rig acted good that way I'm going to go with that setup for now.

Also painted new body for next year, went with the old rattlecan end / brushed trough theme

At the beginning of the season 2017 I felt this hobby had nothing more to offer, I took this rig apart and sold everything. Fortunately this feeling went by fast and at the beginning of 2018 I found myself building a new rig, this time Berg.
Still I knew there was something about those axles, so here I am building a Bully 2

Replaced all the stock bearings with FastEddy bearings

Now waiting new chassis to arrive.
