How it all started: On our comp my friends rig broke and I let him drive my Berg but as it wasn't the best day for me I stated that if he drives my rig better than me I'll put up a for sale add for the rig. He now owns it ![]() I started to look for new axles. Got a few offers for nice XR10 axle sets but at the same time was dreaming of the B2's. Got lucky and scored set of B2's here - thanks CrawlrKing. Some specs: B2 axles Custom chassis from Tomi SCX shocks TI links Silver Voodoo's with CI foams and wheels Pro-Line 1/16 bug body Hitec 7950 servo HH 35T motors Mamba Micro Pro esc's Novak DIG ![]() Ordered new bearings from FastEddy and maintained the axles ![]() New pins are definitely needed, stock is way too short ![]() New bearings in ![]() Greased the gears, CVD's and mounted the motor (HH 35T) ![]() Same tretment to the rear axle ![]() Tomi was kind enough to blow the dust off the mill and cut me the same chassis plates he designed for my Berg. ![]() Now I have to wait for the 4mm ti rod to arrive so I could start making the links Last edited by Heido; 01-08-2015 at 03:14 AM. |

I am curious to see how the 4mm rod works out. I just ordered some my self. My plan is to make uppers. Do you think it will hold up for lowers too?

On my berg I had only the rear lowers made of 5mm rod, all others were 4mm and hold up well.

Rowdy has the list up on his build topic ![]() Actually there are 18 5x10x4 bearings all together, so I have now some spares but that's never a bad thing | |

Is that fast eddy bearing kit for the Bully2 or just one that had the bearings you needed?

Today finally the 4mm TI rod arrived, now I can start making the links. Also the CI foams and wheels arrived a few days back. It will be a puzzle putting them together, as I have never had glue-on wheels before. Eddie was kind enough to give me some tips on that ![]() ![]() |

Got some links made today - uppers and front lowers, all from 4mm rod. Haven't decided yet from which rod to make the rear lowers, 4 or 5mm. I've tried heating up the 4mm rod to the glowing point and letting it cool down it harden's a lot... It should hold up just fine ![]() ![]() |

I would recommend you check the CVD pins. Mine where short and I made new pins for the CVD's. What radio are you using? |
