Default Chevotafun's Bullied Sudu Pro

Hey guys,

The Reptile was a great chassis and served me well taking me to a first place overall finish last yr, but something just felt off about the Reptile.

So next yr I will be running the Sudu Pro made by DravTech.
hence the new build thread

Tobias was awesome to deal with.
Got the Orange skid plate with it and once he catches up I will be ordering his magic wands.

Everything will be transferred over from the reptile

Mrc silver
Mini-t silver springs
35wt oil front shocks
30wt oil rear

Going a new direction in motors JUST ORDERED THE NEW Brood NEXUS 16T with lightweight can
Servo- Hi-Tech 7980

can't wait to watch this, looks like you beat me to it. I just ordered a sudu pro with........ an orange skid, just ordered my bully2's as well. What do they say - give the same chassis and axles to ten different guys and get ten different builds!

This should be fun.

Your body panels are amazing

Guys, you can't go wrong with a pair of bullies and a SuDu Pro.

Skins do look as if they were designed by Michelle.....

....AWESOME!

Thank you Tobias
Can't wait to dig in and get it together.

Yes it did arrive in Canada, but it arrived at the other end of Canada first.
I would guess it should be here by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Hopefully my D-lux package will arrive as well next week so I can get it together before the comp on the 21st
The package is on it's way and is about halfway to the Canadian Broader.
So far it looks like that might just happen

I'm also looking forward to this build. Seems like you've got all the parts for a great crawler.

Canada Post has been really quick here this month. Ordered some stuff from RPP on the 10th, got it today. That's unheard of for me. Hopefully your stuff gets through just as quickly.

Hoping that my D-lux package shows up today so I can get building
With my links and his knuckle/knuckle weights system

Thinking it should as it is at my local post office ready for delivery
At worst it will be tomorrow.

This will give me plenty of time to get it together for this weekends comp

Oh yeah and my skins shipped out yesterday so those should be here by weeks end

Yes sir the links showed up yesterday
So after I getting the little one put to sleep I got to work ripping the reptile apart.
Got it pretty much all back together, but something funky is going on with the front links.

But I was to crossed eyed by that time to try to figure it out at midnight knowing I have to be up at 4:30 for work

This is were it sits

With all that carbon fibre that thing's gonna be light. Let us know what the weight is.

If I had to guess it will be around 4lbs or a hair under that

Yup she was 4lbs flat lol

Alittle update form last night wrench session.
Moved the front upper links on the chassis side to the top hole to give the upper link a better angle.

Had to put a long rod end on the front uppers to get the diff pitch up enough to get the electronics' tray to clear the lower link on the driver side when flexing.

The length came in at 12.25"
So a quick couple turns of the rod ends and she was sitting at 12.5"

Got in acouple battery's last night on the test pile and all seems to be working.
Might flip my springs from front to back the way I had my switch set up.

First time driving a 40/60 chassis set up definitely a little different, that's for sure but still drove very nice.

Couldn't get the D-lux knuckles on yet as there was something missing lol
All good tho Eric is taking care of that

I will take some photos tonight of how it sits and maybe a quick video of it in action.

Just waiting on my skins and she is basically ready to go for this weekends comp.

Can't wait to she what she can do
