Crawlinghulls bullified 3 Attachment(s) Well it is official, the sudu and the rear axle arrived today! Really impressed with both. Can't wait for everything else to show up! First question - my wife's rig (xr10) runs 13t HH Crawlmaster experts. Should I do the same or would I benefit more with something else. Emily said I can do whatever. So any advice - btw the crawlmasters are the most intense crawling motor I've ever owned |
Re: Crawlinghulls bullified Looking good you will love the bully2 axles I know I do so far."thumbsup" Either stick with those or maybe check out the 11t crawl puller 500 or the 33t puller 400 if your looking to save alittle weight. I run the 30t flow pullers in my bully and was running the 13t crawl puller in my sporty. Was super happy with both of these motors  Just ordered the 11t crawl puller 500 to replace the 13t in the sporty. I will let you know how I like it once I test it. Will be ordering either that motor or the 400 pullers for my bully when HH comes out with the new and improved puller motors "thumbsup" |
Re: Crawlinghulls bullified I'm running Holmes Hobbies 13t in my Bully 2. They run great. I just got the Holmes Hobbies mini speed controls also. Both work great. I'm using the 13 tooth pinions. The Bully 2 axles run opposite direction of the XR10 motors. So it think they're the same as Bergs. |
Re: Crawlinghulls bullified I was typing when you posted. Tell me how you like the 11 turn motors. |
Re: Crawlinghulls bullified These are wider than I thought, what size hubs are you running? I'll be running dlux beadlocks |
Re: Crawlinghulls bullified 5 Attachment(s) So while I wait for other items to show up I started thinking of building new shocks Found these in the pile, think they are from some hip shocks - not sure. After a little trimming, don't think I can get any more svelte Used nail clippers |
Re: Crawlinghulls bullified 1 Attachment(s) And they weigh........ Nothing"thumbsup" |

Re: Crawlinghulls bullified I was thinking the same thing, that they looked alittle different, but I will wait to get them before passing judgement on them  Half way there chassis arrived today "thumbsup" |

Re: Crawlinghulls bullified 6 Attachment(s) Got some work done this weekend Rig is a roller! Mounted the servo, made a small aluminum behind the motor elect/bat mount, small lexan mount on the axle. The shocks are not internally limited at all and the rears have some small external limiters. The upper links hit the chassis spacers front and rear when fully compressed. Also, at max articulation the rear lowers hit the rear upper links. Not concerned, as I will need to limit the shocks a little more"thumbsup" |
Re: Crawlinghulls bullified Here is some info I just posted to help with the rear link setup. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/rc4wd...ml#post5073955 |
