Default Xr10 to Bully2

I have found the itch again to get back to crawling after a 3 year absence. I previously owned a pretty stock Xr10, Ax10 and a Wraith. I then built an Xr10 with all Vp bling and Chaotic Switch chassis.

So here i am looking to build another crawler. I've ordered a chassis, B2 axles and some links.

I will post my whole list of parts and some build pics as they come. As for now it feels good to be back and building again.

Links-Dluxfab, Rc4wd steering
Axles-Bully2 with 8* chubs and knuckles
Shocks-Dlux big bores lathed with cap mod and mini t springs
motors-HH puller 500 crawl 13t
ESC-Torque master BR mini dual with castle BEC 7.4v
Servo-Hitec 7950
Wheels-Vanquish SLW4, 475 hubs, Bully2 wheel weights, CI double deuce

Tires-Ottsix Voodoo gold and silver

I have the chassis, links, steering, shocks and axles ordered. I will post pics as the build comes along.

Please give me feedback on what you think.

That looks like a good list of parts you've got there.

I hope so. Better rig than driver.

Should have some parts in next week.

Should I go with 475 hubs, 600 or 475 front and 600 rear?
Never had bully's before.

Fist of all - nice list of parts

Last year I ran 600 all corners with CI 1" wheels. For this season I'm changing to 350 in the rear to get it a bit narrower. It's mainly because of the rocks we have, a lot of sharp turns into and out of the gates.

That's good advice, thank you. I might try 600 front with 475 rear and see how it works. I already have 350's from a previous crawler so I can always put them on instead.

I am thinking of using dlux d-cut cf wheels. My question is if im using vp 600 and 475 hubs, what beadlockrims width on his sight should i use. I don't want glue on anything.

I need advice on what to order. Thanks

Still waiting on my chassis and plates from Dravtech. I have to order some tires and i will start putting together a rolling chassis.

Im thinking of going with bully comp ties from Rc4wd. How do they compare to Voodoos?

I will post pics once i get everything i ordered.

I would like to send a shout out to Eric from Dlux, his parts and service are second to none. Thanks Eric

They are very similar, except the RC4WD Bully are narrower, a very good thing, and the OD is a bit smaller... They allow an enormous amont of steering without hitting shocks or lower links...

The compound is very sticky and soft... A lot of grip...

Only thing is the foams are way too soft, useless... CI double deuce is the only way...

Thanks for the likes guys. I am putting a roller together for now to get things somewhat dialed in.

Just ordered a couple sets of tires, some wheel spacers from Dlux and some no preload cups for my shocks.

I should have went with 725 hubs up front cause my back screws for the Dlux wheels are hitting my steering arm barely though. Didnt want to buy new hubs so i went with the hub spacers.

More pics to come soon.
