I have had good success to use slow curing epoxy to bond CF and aluminum. It is very important to clean the parts before though. I used 99.5% isopropanol.

Even bonding CF to delrin works fine if you have the right primer for the delrin.

Going to try lol, she's all together now just needs electronics.
Very little time to drive though, hopefully I'll get out and start running on the rocks tomorrow at some point. If not I'll have to bring my other rig.

She's sitting under her own weight!
Man this thing is nice wow
I built some ultralight big bore shocks and put them on her today.
They have an internal diameter of .353 with an outside diameter of .3937 or 10mm. This allows for more shock oil to be put in them giving you better tuning. A traxxas big bore has a .375 bore diameter, but with an about a 1/2 or .500 outer diameter.

Betting it will be tuned and ready.

You might want to flip your front links?

I'd like to introduce the skinny hub, she weights in at 2 grams per hub about half the weight of others and got me down to 10 1/2 inches on a stock width bully 2 rear axle with the wheel faces on the inside.
I also finalized my front hubs and got them down to 9 grams, no spacers.
So today I lost 9 grams total just in hubs.

Made up some more new parts today, almost ready for Rausch!
Got some new wheel faces, in red with a carbon fiber outside.

New carbon fiber weight system for the 3.5 inch carbon fiber beadlock.
This carbon fiber parts sits a 1/4 inch lower inside the wheel. Placing the brass weights all the way down inside the rim.

And last but not least, my 10mm stock scx10 shock now has a baby brother.
This shock is the same diameter 10mm but is 8mm shorter than its big bro.
Mounting two of them on the front axle tonight.

All right I did it, everyone's been telling how good this setup is. Seems good! Call me crazy but I'm running a new radio at Rausch.

I have been following your build and love it. I have the MT-4 and this radio is nice I do like it a lot. I tried the new 4PLS buit i had it returned. I have been dealing with my Viper II chassis but i think I;'m going to give up on this chassis too much pain to get it right I may end up getting the same chassis as yours. what is your shocks length?

Thanks ! 1st the SuDu 3D MOD is so awesome, lightweight with great clearance. It ran lines that my old chassis couldn't. Great Design!

We got back yesterday from NEPARCCrawlers NENC it was a long weekend of running great courses and hanging out with some good people. So I'm just getting back to be able to respond.
I'm really liking the MT-4 just need more wheel time.
The shock I'm making / running are the same length as stock SCX10 shocks.
The front shock are 8mm shorter than stock, but I did limit both the front and rear travel by around 6mm.
Thanks again keep on crawling!

Added another wheel face to the parts list today, what you think! Probably going to have to run a .5mm backplate with this one for strength and support.

So at Rausch I had some issues with trying to get used to my Airtronics MT-4.
My thumb position on the dual rate lever was not natural, so of course I couldn't leave it only lol. Rethink everything right!
Anyway, so I modified the lever with a knurled thumb screw that allows my thumb to sit in a natural position on top of the knurled screw. I feel it's a lot better now. The screw thread lets me adjust how far in or out I position the knurl so if your thumb reach is really long it gives you more room. Next I may make a double knurl for a full resting place for my thumb.
Let me know what you guys think.

There's a couple new 3pc rear wheel design I worked on today, they may need some revisions but going to run a set at the comp this weekend.
This equals this?

Ok what one is the program for? Right side or left.
