I've looked all over the place for reviews on the B2 axles. So is anyone willing to share their thoughts? Also, is there anyone out there that went from bergs to B2s?

Really 55 people looked but weren't willing to say anything. Did 55 people just have the same question?

Dezert, are you interested in the B2 axles? If so, buy a B2 front axle then build a rear with krazed builds KR4 carbon fiber/delrin housing. That will eliminate some failures and is a huge upgrade over stock B2 axle.

The only issue them are the cheap junk Chinese bearings that fail and cause one of the small idlers to break. Swap out them for some Fast Eddie bearings and the pretty much bullet proof as any other axle out there |

So I already have a set of lathed down berg v1s with xr shafts, and they are very heavy. It's time for a major update. After looking at berg parts I realized that What I wanted to do would cost about the same as going to B2 front and kr4 rear. So should I go B2 and kr4 or upgrade the bergs? Thanks everyone.

I have my bully2 for over 3 years now i didn't have any issue with it . I opened the gear boxes just before the nordics for the first time in 3 years and nothing is damage on the gear or bearing i still run them from out of the box front and rear . Before i had xr10 axles and they keeped breaking gear and bearing. so for sure the bully2 are very good out of the box . If your budget allowed you to get a kr4 rear axles do it but it's not obligate . The bully 2 axles front and rear placed 3rd at the last world's . So for 100% they are good

I replace my bearings every year as preventive maintenance. The only time I've munched the idler gear is after more than a year of abuse and the bearing takes it out. No axle on the market should be a run forever and never do maintenance. I also run the KR4 rear as it weighs nothing and tucks the motor nice and tight to the axle tube.

I also run these axles more than 3 years and they did a great job Price performance ratio is perhaps the best on the market! You just should note some things: As Chris Boggs said, to replace the bearings is not wrong, these are cheap and especially the small ones (5x9x3) are not for a liftetime.Best choice for the rear axle is the KR-4,very lightweight, motor close to the axle and you donīt have the small bearings like mentioned above! Another important thing: you should always put some grease or oil to the XVDīs never run them dry! Itīs very easy to disassemble them: And a very good upgrade to remove high forces from your servo is a longer steering arm,you can build it by yourself or also buy it for a low price from X3M-Crawl But if you crawl with a clear brain and donīt violate your crawler itīs not a must-have If you look at these things, the axles are extremely durable |
