Possibly... I am very interested in the Bully II MOA "kit". It seems like a fair price. When I watch videos, I am impressed with how well it crawls. What I don't know is anything about its reliability. The only crawlers I currently own are a LNC and a Ridgecrest. Both are somewhat modified and crawl pretty well (I do it for fun only). Since both of those are 10th scale, I am interested in trying out 8th scale. Tell me what to expect with Bully II reliablity and necessary upgrades. Thanks!

IMHO there aren't many things to upgrade in it. Just add knuckle weights to make front more heavy, and change shocks to big bores. Some more tuning can be done, like clocking axles, changing link and shock mounting positions etc. Trim/vent tires and get better foams too. Of course there are more upgrades that you can do, but I believe these already make quite a noticeable difference. |

I ended up ordering it from Tower since my membership discount applied. I wish I'd have ordered it a few weeks back before they started charging state tax for us Cali-Unicornians. Oh well, we are all rich, so it doesn't matter. | |

No problem, also don't forget to put some grease on them gears while you build it (I believe it keeps them in good shape for a longer duration). Most importantly, have fun with your new Bully 2! |
