So, from an RTR or ARTR to comp winning rig?
Looking forward to see what's coming from there!

Disclaimer:
Some cups were harmed in the making of these videos.

My main curiosity is those shocks...
They are not known to be efficient.
Also, how low can you get those weights.

Still, I'm sure the driver will be up for the task!

Axles are good (check if they have correct bearings ),Chassis is also good (itīs a Sudu), shocks doesnīt matter, steering arms are still too short. Electronics are a big joke! But you change electronics,so then this will work for sure
I think you hope (or we all hope) to get more people to this hobby when they see you can have a cheap crawler with good performance. I hope this will work! In my area no chance, people wantīs to build something special which nobody else have on the rocks.... but perhaps in other areas the scene will grow with this project!?
RC4WD should make a cheap bundle with some electronics.A pair of Crawlmaster and some Quickrun 1080 would be a good but cheap choice

I will try to max out the performance of the shocks. Can be shocking!

As I bought the Kit it hasn't got electronics. But I agree with you as I said in the video. I do hope this gets more newcomers in the discpline. Good driving against you during the summer!

What are you thoughts about me building a cheap crawler and compete with it next summer? Who wants to see building getting started? RC4WD Holmes Hobbies RFOT Rc Hoods

I think this is a great idea. To let newbies see how they can get started.
With that being said you picked great electronics package (esc's and motors). You should post up info on other lower priced electronic packages for newbies to get started.

Looking forward to seeing how this rig holds up. I personally want to see you run the kit shocks and bully pin tires with stock foams.

I have you sitting at 1030.00 plus tax and shipping.
Without a radio plus 200.00. (Mt4)

I know I've not saved any money on getting my electronics, but you can get cheaper packages from Holmes too. I will add them to the story later. Perhaps even test them.

I feel so excited. It's true we are over 1k with this, but with cheaper electronics it is possible to get under k.

Thanks for following.
