DLux links and Rod end install

Does anyone have any good info/pics on installing these links on bully axles? Im referring to things like direction and rotational position.

Also, for the Sudu 3D chassis it seems like most folks are using Revo and Jato Rod ends for the lower links, but which rod end goes where?

Thanks!

I have SuDu MOD 3D chassis with bully axles. Jato rod ends on lower links both front and rear on chassis side. Axle side regular revo rod ends. On upper links I have revo rod ends everywhere else except for rear uppers axle side. That's for clocking the rear axle so the motor rises higher and doesn't get stuck on rock so easily. "thumbsup"

You powers combined gave me the answer/s I was looking for, thank you.

Zarizi Tech, i’m also copying a lot of what you did on Lilla My (not competing with it though, just a hobby build). Keep up the good work [emoji6]

Yes, forgot that thread. :lmao: There might be some useful tips, since it's been run with Dlux links and my own is with old NCD links. So copy from there. "thumbsup"

Still stumped here. Just to be clear, I'm using dlux links, Sudu Mod 3D, and Bully 2 comp axles.

First, I think you mean Traxxas 1942 for the upper links since they are 1/8" diameter. Then for each lower link, one Revo and one Jato, with the Jato being closest to the chassis correct?

I started out this way and actually couldn't assemble it. the science just wasn't there :-)

Then I stumbled across your link length spec: http://www.dravtech.net/?page_id=2120, well that should settle it, right?

I tweaked my uppers per the spec, then focused on the rear lowers. I had to ditch the Jatos for Revo's, yet still can't get to 145mm, maybe I can get to 150mm before I run out of thread, but definitely not 145mm. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

(I have not looked at the front lowers yet). Thanks.
