I'll try to take a pic...

I think in order to put a floor in I am going to have to modify the shifting servo mounting and go to a micro servo. I already started looking into, I just need a few hours to do it.

I am going to cut the supplied posts down, slide the front post back and run a micro metal gear servo with a longer shifter rod. This will get the servo back under the Bruiser bench seat and will allow me to drop the floor down to the point where it will touch the top of the transmission. Still not as low as I'd like it but it should actually be spot to the amount of drop my OG clone had.

Someone say Flat Floor???

You Probably already know this but others might not. With the MTZ's you'll most likely want to change the foams when you get them, especially if you're going to run your wheels weighted. The foams are pretty narrow and like to move around a lot in the tire. I swapped mine out for some new Proline memory foams I had laying around.

Thanks for the tip. I have piles of foam, I'm sure I'll figure something out.

I spent quite a bit of time on this today. The wheels on there were too inset and I ruined a set of tires rubbing the tires on the knuckles I saw it was going to happen but I was too lazy to switch tires. I patched up the tires for now (more on the way) and mounted on the RC4WD steel wheels I think they look even better and they gave me that extra .25" I needed. While I was switching the tires I noticed that I had bent a leaf. Totally my fault. I've gotten a little too aggressive in second gear considering I only had one leaf on there. I added 1 helper leaf per corner which didn't stiffen it up too much and should hold up better.

I was having problems with the ESC cutting out so I threw a BEC on it which fixed it instantly. I got impatient waiting for parts and I had a Hilux interior that I got from Crawler Innovations. It fits PERFECTLY! No trimming, no interference with the electronics or battery either so I'm thinking it's staying in there.

While I was digging around finding parts today I found a RC4WD snorkel I've had for probably a year. Well that had to go on too. After that I mounted the shell with Velcro and decided to go drive it. I freaking love driving this thing!

Fancy new tires and wheels. They are sticky!!! They were actually stuck to the inside of the bag they came in and kept picking up screws off my mess of a bench. I quickly tried a couple lines in my front yard that are fairly difficult and they had no problem doing them.

Tires

Mickey Thompson 1.9 Baja MTZ Scale Tires

Wheels

Pro10 1.9 Steel Stamped Beadlock Wheel (Black)

The stance in the top picture is perfect to a "T"!

Every older Toyota I've ever seen or still do see has the rear end hunkered down a little more than the front. It looks awesome and realistic!

Great job on the whole build my man!!

hey zach, how did you do the internal bracing on the shell to make it strong enough to hold up to a roll-over?

i just got a dinky shell in the mail and it's so thin and flimsy that even in shipping it got collapsed/dented. (RPP is totally taking care of it tho. love rpp)

I'm hoping the thick lexan from my windows will work. I've rolled it a couple times and so far so good. I'm sure that will change though.

I'll get that in a bit. I really don't know if you need them though These seem to be holding up well.
