The radiator looks awesome Zach! Maybe paint the fins silver?

Actually looking at more of these TF2 builds is really making me want one. While all are really nice, the few are my style and look awesome. The front of one of my Hilux is very exposted and was thinking of doing a radiator like your's. I agree with chicklet, painting the radiator "aluminum" would look alot better. Then you can use a thinned down "black wash" togive the fins sonme depth. |

Just finished reading your build to this point.. Freaking awesome man, i really dig your servo winch! I'm definitely going to save up for a Trail Finder 2 now. It seems very simple and clean. Is it a limited time sale? I've never had a rig of my own.. always playing with my brothers. Do you think it'd be a good kit for a starter like me?

That's great, I'll have of time to learn most of the little tricks for the TF2. I believe i have the basic skills to put it all together. Other then i have never done any work with hard bodies, nor interior work, so I don't think that part would go very well at all.. I'll have plenty of time to save up; after i finish installing a lift on my 1:1 Ford Ranger. I really wish they made a 80's super cab ranger hard body.. Then I'd be able to make my build based off my truck. And i love this forum, there's endless information and help form more experienced people. Last edited by xBLAKEx; 04-10-2012 at 06:21 PM. |

I know this thread is super old but does anyone who ran this truck or ran with Zach know what foams he used in the MTZ tires? He hasn't been on since 2012.
