| Zach's new RC4WD Trailfinder 2
It's time to post up about my new Trail Finder 2 from RC4WD. First off I can say that I am extremely impressed. It's a very well done Class 1 kit right out of the box. Please feel free to ask any questions about it. They should be out in the middle of February so you can get yours on order here Trail Finder 2 Truck Kit w/Mojave Body Set Onto the build. Opened up the shipping box and got this cool box Everything is very well packaged. The axles, 2 speed tranny, transfer case, and shocks are all pre-assembled for you. I'm hoping to have it running by tonight so I'll be posting pics through the day. |

As I was pulling out the parts I couldn't help snap a picture of the 2 speed tranny. So cool! More packaging. All the hardware is packaged in separate labeled bags for each type of hardware. It's super nice to have while building. |

| Re: Zach's new RC4WD Trailfinder 2 I think so too. Maybe it will help push Class 1 in a more scale direction. More coming soon. |

Of course I had to open up the transfer case and the tranny to take a peek inside. |

Btw, everything inside the tranny and transfer case was greased and torqued properly. A huge plus in my opinion.

Very cool!!! So what are your overall thoughts on the axles and 2-speed tranny? I know that Chino had to make sure that the axles where shimmed properly in order to keep them in good working order. Does the 2-speed seem to shift smoothly? |

| Re: Zach's new RC4WD Trailfinder 2 The two speed shifts very smoothly. Axles seem shimmed correctly too. I'm going to shim the front a little tighter but I'm afraid it will be too tight at that point. I'll guess we'll see soon.

I can't really tell for sure. If seems a little more plastic to me but very durable and the drop bed is sweet! I'm going to try bonding some of the scraps together but I leant my Pro-Weld out so I'll need to get it back first. | |

I cracked open an axle. Grease and shimmed right out of the box. It looks like RC4WD has listened. |

What color did the body come in? Is it tan like on the box art? |
