It seems the swb leafs are hard to find and always seem to be out of stock. The tamiya 9808205 leaf springs fit perfectly on the swb and are $20 cheaper for the set of 4. They are a bit stiffer than the rc4wd replacements but well worth it for the price. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

This has happened to me twice now. Seems to be a problem with the panhard bar axle mount. The part that keeps it intact has two screw holes going through it. So not much metal to hold the mount upright. Walking speed the truck and hit something at an angle. BAM this can happen. |

Installed! Mine did not sit flush with the K44 axles. I had to dremel the inner corner of the mount where it makes a 90% corner. Not a big deal. This is a solid not going to bend piece! Very happy. After the dremel. And I only nicked the inside corner of the mount for a second. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Something Im surprised that I didnt see mentioned was you can get rid of the shoulder bolts that go through the leaf spring eyes and replace with normal 3mm screws, put small pieces of small engine fuel line(forget what size)in the spring eyelets and put back together. The fuel line will act as a bushing & will give just a lil bit and allow just a tad bit more flex. I also feel it is easier on the spring eyelet to keep from pulling the eyelet apart so easily. Dont have any pics as Im not that computer savy to figure out how to post those. You can also use some of locked up rc 4 link brackets to make a custom set of traction bars for the rear without having to modify anything on the chassis or axles. Although doing this does make the suspention not work as well but you dont have to worry about bending leafs if your wanting to take your truck out and really give it a beat down hill climbing ect. |
