The black steel punisher shafts are working great for me. Using the rig a couple times a week for three months now. no problems.

I run MIP's in most rigs but these are a tad more scale and are really durable.

I have 2 TF2's and installed the drive shaft rings from Axial and HotRacing and have had no issues. The rings are a bit bigger then the drive shafts but they still do the job. If you can't find them I have made rings from brass tubing and drilled and tapped holes for set screws and they worked just the same for less money.

I ordered up a pair of JunFac shafts. Should be here Thursday. Any tips on installing them or they straight forward like the stock shafts?

My tf 2 came with rings, and I glued them and safety wired them an they still broke in ten minutes. Also came with rubber mirrors that only lasted a couple of runs. Only running 35t motor on nimh

Ok , I need in this conversation if yall dont mind. I too own a trailfinder 2, and I would like to know .where do I look for Mips . And/or what length shafts would I buy, if I got the ultra scale shafts from Rc4wd or Mips.? I made sleaves for my stock shafts out of aluminum tubing .I know thats not the problem area, but hey, they look good. Lol Im waiting on a few more parts in the mail and I get to run mine finally. Maybe I'll get 30 minutes out of it before the shafts are gone.

RC4WD has a compatibility chart for driveshafts on their site:
http://rc4wd.com/Doc/Shafts.pdf

Lots of choices there. Among the metal ones, the only ones to stay away from are the v3 steel punishers.

Has anyone an an issue with the holes on the junfacs not lining up with the holes in the pinion shaft/transfer case shaft?

All of my RC4WD axles and t-cases have needed the output shafts shortened slightly when using shafts other than RC4WD ones. Grind just enough off the end to get the holes in the output shaft to line up with the holes in the driveshaft.
