oki know about the stick on wheel weights but for my tf2 build i want something better. i know proline makes and internal wheel weight system and axial has one but im wondering if any of these will work with the stock
tfs internal beadlock wheels? plus i thought i saw some where that someone made an internal beadlock wheel weight?

so doea anyone know of this wheel weight?

ive been looking but cant find it again.

I found these to slip right on the yota axle knuckles. Less rotating mass and cheap.

Picked them up at my local hardware store. Only downfall is that you cannot run 1.55" wheels, unless they have alot of offset.

Decoy weights work great and are 6oz per stick.

yep saw the blue monkey ones they looksweet.but the ones im looking for actualy look like the proline version. they are the internal ring of the bead lock but they are
the wheel weight. im still looking when i find them i will post them unless someone beats me to it.

with the gear set in the axles having a lot of slop it might not be a good idea to put the extra weight in the wheels its hard on the drivtrain. the axle weights are awesome i run the blue monkey weights on front and rear and it makes the rig crawl really good.

I picked up a set of 5/8" split ring collars for under $3.00 a pop at the local hardware store. They clear my RC4WD 1.55 locks. "thumbsup"

I am going to have to look around and see if I can find some of these. What section are they in? Most of the hardware stores around here suck so I may end up ordering them from MCmaster.

Hey SMR....I've been looking around for these collars....any luck?
Weight in these small wheels just doesn't work....would really like to find something else other than lead weight in the wheel

Bummed...found a collar at ACE hardware...it's too wide at .5"
After checking McMaster Carr, their collars are 7/16"...still too wide

I just ordered some from Mcmaster, had to order some other stuff anyways. If they are too wide I will just mill them a bit to fit, what were you measuring for the maximum width (too lazy to measure)?

Ok I just measured and it looks like from you could fit .410" on the knuckle but it will depend on the wheel tire setup you are running. I am running some 1.9's for the time being because I had an extra set lying around and some 1.9 tsl's and they work/look awesome on this thing. I wish proline made that tire in a 1.5 I would be all over it.

I will update you when they show up and see if they will fit with the stock wheels. If you look at the picture in post #2 the knuckle weights do extend off the end of the knuckle slightly also.

I'm running the stock 1.5's...and a .500 doesn't allow for the hub to seat properly on the hex nut. If I would guess a .375" would be just about right. Just hate to spend a C note + on the Blue Monkey weights. Would consider sending Dezfan more cash than it's worth to ship me 4 from his local hobby store connection...as long as they fit

I will update you for sure, I could mill some other ones down for you if you need me to, got any good spots to meet up down that way to get some scaling action on?

Another thought I had was to chamfer the hell out of the inside of the collar so that it would slide farther onto the knuckle. You could probably do that yourself with a big countersink and a handheld drill or drill press.

I'm running 1.55 wheels as well and these clear my wheels. I bought them at Ace hardware. I'll try and get some picks and some measurments for you guys ASAP.

get the photobucket app Dez...it works just like the regular input...just a little different look, I use it all the time at home....

My local ACE doesn't even know what they are...I tried two of them locally. Best I could find was a solid (no split) collar that was a 1/2" wide and couldn't even get the wheel on...and when I tightened it down it wouldn't roll at all. It has a set screw in it...thought of grinding it down to get it narrower...as a last resort I suppose. The rear axles are just a tad bigger than 5/8"...so it doesn't slide over the knuckle. Even if it did It wouldn't tighten down after that.
