All was going good until this happened: [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] Where can I get an upgraded rear driver shaft? I broke the little ears off it. |

For cheap money these work great. I run them on my TF2. I have not broken one yet and I do beat it (the rig that is ). These are good because this pack come with many extras. And the make up of the plastic that Traxxas uses for these works very well and does not snap as easily as most other plastic driveshafts. They will fit right on the stock joints so throw them on and go. I posted this from Tower Hobbies as it was the first place that came up in a google search. The part number does not come up on RPP's site which is where I usually order from. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJH85&P=Z |

i love stock wraith driveshafts. they're cheap. readily available, and pretty tough. ive broken TF2 and scx-10 stock shafts, but ive never broken a wraith shaft (but i'm not crazy rough on my rigs)

Heres another fun question, the winch fairlead thing ripped off and the winch is ripping out of its mounts. How do I fix it? I cant get a screw driver at the screws that hold it down since the body of the winch is over top of them. Any thoughts?

How do I 4-link the front so I quit bending the little leaf springs?

RC 4wd has a three link kit for the front. It's prob the easiest way to go. |

Ordered my front 3 link set up, I think Im going to pull the 4 link off the rear and make it leaf springs again so its more realistic. I just need to figure out which shocks to get now.

Is it worth putting the 3 link on the front?

I put the Punisher Drive shafts from RC4WD in when I started hearing abouit drivers breaking the plastic DS supplied in the kit. They are Solid. I guess if I break one of those, I have bigger problems. I have found that I can slip the clutch instead of breaking the DS which is really what it should do.

Got the 3 link in, truck drives much better now. Gonna put the 80mm shocks on the front and it should be back in action. Managed to bend one of the front links but rc4wd sent me some more. Will try to get some pics when I get home. Gonna prob pull the bumpers off Im thinking until I can find some nice metal ones, or rc4wd gets the ARB style ones back in stock for it. Bought an scx10 to beat also. This truck def cant take the punishment I give it.

The 80mm front shocks make a whole world of difference on this truck! I had proline scale shocks on it, but they were too long so it constantly had the nose in the air. Just going to stick with what rc4wd recommends for this thing from now on and not try and make stuff work.
