how do i install bruiser shackles on the tf2? ok i just got my bruiser shackle kit to install on my build. i have seen all the pics in other threads and i know where to put some of the parts but im a little confused. here is the parts i got in the kit: pic#1 http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/p...815_184923.jpg i understand where these go its a no brainer. pic#2 http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/p...815_184954.jpg as for this and the next i dont know if i use these for the front leaf hanger? the holes are different but they are the same size. pic#3 http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/p...815_185056.jpg i also got 4pcs of one then 2pcs of the one with the different hole alignment. pic#4 http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/p...815_185124.jpg these are the last parts of the kit. im looking for what are people using for the front of the leaf on the front and rear of the truck out of the pics above? i know pic#1is used for the rear of the leafs so what one os for the front? bob |

Re: how do i install bruiser shackles on the tf2? You will have to mix and match to find the right combination for your setup. Right now I have the big hangers in front with the long shackles directly to the front hole in the frame. On the rear I have the stock hanger and long shackle out back. |
Re: how do i install bruiser shackles on the tf2? thanksguys thats what i wanted to see. i wanted to have a base to see how it ran before i start to experiment with diff hanger setups. |
Re: how do i install bruiser shackles on the tf2? ok so i got the shackles on. i copied the pics from 1badjeep above. but here is another question. i can see the amount of lift this hopup gives the tf2 exspecialy in the front so do i need to add longer shocks all the way around? im thinking yes?? maybe these? an extra 10mm on each end. http://store.rc4wd.com/Dual-Spring-9...cks_p_879.html http://store.rc4wd.com/Dual-Spring-1...cks_p_875.html these arent the shock everyone say arent that great due to mismatched pistons and stuff? or should i got 100mm frt & 110mm rear? bob |
Re: how do i install bruiser shackles on the tf2? I put axial rod ends on the bottoms of mine and it gives it a little bump in length and they dont come undone ever 5 min...Cheaper than new shocks too! |

Re: how do i install bruiser shackles on the tf2? thanks guys soit seems im saving mylunch money for some longer shocks. the new rod end sounds like a nice trick i will try that forthe time being. |
