I did a few mods with the materials I could get my hands on. First, I bought this shelf hardware and used it to mount the transfer case instead of using the useless scrape plate. That thing catches on everything.

I replaced the rear drive shaft with one from my a venom creeper. I also added some moldable plastic so it can slide over rocks better. The white stuff is shapelock. I explain it in my quadrocker build thread.

It's time to make change this truck from the daily driver to a trail truck that still is being used as a daily driver. I removed the stock bumper in the front and added a tough armor bumper from a TF1 (i think) to the rear.

I used a paint pen to paint the copper.

Time for a camper top. I kept the stock black so scratches don't show on it. I did a gloss black around the window to make it look rubbery.

It's subtle. Only on the rear window in these images

After that I used the copper to make some lift blocks

Blingin'

One side lifted

By adding a big servo horn to the bottom of the figure the body now tilts back and fourth when crawling because the body is only fixed in the front and rear with zipties.

I tried to make a new transmission servo mount but I kept making them wrong. I'll do it later...

I've been busy with snowboarding but I'm back. Here is a test I did with a gopro mounted to the controller. I think it will work well on the rocks.

That's a sweet camera mounting idea.

I don't like the scrap plate for the transfer case either! Good idea with the hanger! What paint did you use for the light lenses?

It's Tamiya acrylic paint on the inside of the lens. Like 10 layers of it.

Nice job all around. You've given me some great ideas for my TF2.

#1 - Get an extra body. One for show and one for go!

Thanks!

I think it looks better with the scrapes. It will be a truggy in about a year. Its good for us to destroy something we miticulously created. Embrace Etropy.

I did the brusier shackle mod

Then I took it out. It resolves the body scraping issue nicely. Now I need bigger wheels.

Video coming soon!

Now that it's lifted a bit I need some bigger tires. Which ones do you like? I'd like to keep the stock wheels if possible. Unless I can find some used ones...

The rc4wd iroks ars so ugly I can't explain it also look nothin like the real irok in 1.1 for the fact how squared off they are and their tread depth but with some shavings on the sides to round them off they look great
