Re: Excessive Slop in steering knuckles given the pounding the TF2 has taken by alot of members on here I would say its a go... |
Re: Excessive Slop in steering knuckles The axles are fine mate. I have just sold my first TF2 which I bought as soon as they came out. Apart from having to shim one input gear they were bullet proof. You just wait and see, they will go on and on"thumbsup" |
Re: Excessive Slop in steering knuckles Just check the screws in the top and bottom of the knuckles and lock-tite them. If they get loose, more slop will develop, and it won't go away just by tightening it up. |
Re: Excessive Slop in steering knuckles To get rid of king pin slop, do the bearing mod from the Bully forum. Completely removes the slop. http://i674.photobucket.com/albums/v...124_065625.jpg The size is 3x6x2.5, drill the knuckles out to 7/32" and wallah, no more slop, it really does work. |
Re: Excessive Slop in steering knuckles Here is a link to the mod in the Bully section. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/rc4wd...uckle-mod.html |
