Default Does your TF2 bounce?

Maybe it's my set up but if I drop it flat from a foot or so mine bounce like basketball. I'm use to 1/5 and 1/8 scale short course trucks that completely absorb a drop like this.

Yes...yes it does. Leaf springs and shocks that are mainly for looks will do that.

Ya Maaang,
I put in my hydrolics, no it bounces DA chit!

Like Hobine said, non dampening shocks and bouncy leafs are the culprit. Its suspension is not designed to absorb that kind of impact. That is where big bore shocks and long travel suspension comes in. Amazing what the desert racer and stadium trucks can do. Seen them handle things (full size) that looked like it would be disaster. But they land like they never left the ground and were driving on flat pavement. Cool stuff.

I just thought the suspension was not very bump absorbing. Guess it's not important I on a slower moving vehicle.

well, i agree with bill^^^, but for the record, mine don't bounce. atleast from only a few inches-maybe 4-6- off the ground. i can pick either end up by hand bout 6" off the ground and drop it, and hits like a balloon full of rocks.
