Decided to start building a topper out of styrene. I'll post pics tomorrow of my progress. Its coming along nicely. I'll probably add some detail as far as a rack of sorts too. Feel free to pipe in ideas if you wish.

OK. I found a decent deal on a new bright Jeep JK like my 1:1 vehicle. So, I'm going to build it using the TF2 as my base. Especially seeing that it is a very solid platform for a crawler. I may sell my body, but I'm not sure just yet. It depends on what condition the new body comes in.

I might buy it if you are. Got my TF2 used and the guy decided to beat the crap out of the body and I'm not a fan.

I'll PM you if I decide to let it go. I may get some heat for this post though.

Got the new body, man, its long. Had to shorten the body about 3/4" to get the wheelbase right. Looks better on the truck finally!

I shortened the interior as well.
Here's my 1:1 4dr JK.

Little bit of progress:

I've got it in primer and stripped out the crap stock interior. Going to build my own interior and incorporate some of the original pieces. I've built a cage for it too. Test run has finally broke the stock rear driveshaft, and the front one is wearing out at the joint. Ordered a replacement rear shaft (ultra scale steel piece) that showed up in 2 days! I'm very impressed with RC4WD and the speedy shipping across the country. More pics to come...

*edit*
Trying again:

Getting there, just need time to work on this! Too many projects, no time to do them!
