| kincer's TF2 is movin up to class 2
I've had quite a few rigs in the last few years and I've gotta say this is and has been my favorite of all of them, my new YJ is gonna be my class 1 and I'm gonna run the TF2 in class 2 next season. I properly installed the Axial shock hoops tonight, I had them on wrong for quite some time and installed my new to me Gmade shocks with the soft springs, seem to work pretty well. Also put my Pitbulls on. I just love the way this truck drives, yeah I know it's not gonna compete as well as a SCX10 but I don't care, I will tweak on it and it'll do what it's gonna do, I just love running this rig lol. I'm gonna have to do some tasteful fender trimming in the front, I thought about the body lift but I don't want it any higher than it needs to be. Any how here's some pics of my new class 2. |

| Re: kincer's TF2 is movin up to class 2 Thanks man, I've had this rig for a while and I took second place in class 1 this season, the problem with that was the whole time I was running class 2 I couldn't wait to run this truck lol, I've got alot of detail work to do on it and I'll be posting up as I go.

Truck looks great and good to hear you like it. Hope you enjoy it as your class 2 rig.. Working on one now for my winter project trying to keep it simple.

I was just wondering if there are any other leafs that fit and work better than the stockers, I've read that the red ones are a bit too soft. Currently I'm only running the main all the way around with 90mm shocks all the way around. Sent from the RAZR's edge |

I run the reds on the rear of mine with the long helper on the bottom and the short helper on top and springs still in my stock shocks, and stock main leaf up front with both helpers on top and no springs in my stock front shocks. I also done a cheap shooter shackle mod on the rear as well. With 1.9 rok lox, it flexes all that the body will allow it to. No need for anymore flex than the body will allow anyway.

That is a good point, I have all the flex that the body will allow now so maybe I'll just leave it be, thanks! Sent from the RAZR's edge |

You may check my build thread, its in the 1.9 section...fatboys trail truck, formerly to nice to crawl, and look at the shooter shackle mod I did. It will give you a lil fall out which in return will result in more flex overall.

Well all set up for our end of the year G6 event with my local club, this bed is temporary til my other one is done. I've got everything I need under the tonneau cover, sand ladders, pull pal, spare tire, and tow rope. got my battery in there too for quick changes. Last edited by kincer; 11-24-2013 at 10:52 AM. |

| Re: kincer's TF2 is movin up to class 2 I was Dave's partner driving in your clubs g6 and this fully leafed TF2 had no problem's kepping up and went some place's the scx jk had trouble with. Some could be tires and my driving but i must give this rig its credit, And to think i've had a new one under my bench for almost 2 years. |

Definitely cool to read. I just landed a tf2 and thought it would be a great class 1 rig. But also thought bout having the tire change and it setup for class 2 as well.. add a little more scale and driver skill to the scale courses..
