Default Question about body?

When I went to mount the body the back of the grille hits the frame and I still have about 1/8 inch or so before the body aligns with the body mount posts on the sides. What am I doing wrong here?

set the body on the tires so that it fits the wheel wells correctly. Now look at your sliders and body mount, too far back?

Sounds like the side mounts are in the wrong holes. They may be in the rock slider holes?

I went back and double checked everything and its all correct. I talk to a local buddy who has a TF2 and he said his was the same way. He had to bend the grille out some at the bottom to be able to secure the body. Its little thing like this that irritate me, it should fit flawlessly. Anyway, just venting...

Yep I'm pretty sure they are all that way. Mine is exactly as you describe. Not a huge deal since I trimmed the front piece right up tight to the bottom of the chrome bumper.

Jus, I was just thinking about having to trim some of the front off. I hate to do that but may not have a choice.

It may not be the direction you had in mind for your truck, but it doesn't look bad and makes the body a little happier when it's all secured to the chassis.

Well I was going for a different look but that doesn't look bad at all. I may cut it but still keep the tube bumper on because I bought a winch for it. Your truck looks good.

They are 1.55 Rock Stompers. They look fantastic, but they don't work very well. They are okay on dry rocks and in the dirt, but once things are wet I wanted to pull my hair out.

Jus, let me know if you would like to get rid of those rock stompers.
