I plan on fabbing up some rear shock hoops and running the hot racing air shocks 3/4 link suspension and a set of pitbull tires. i plan on doing some local scale comps, im hoping i can get this thing to handle like my old scx10 |
Re: my tf2 build Looks good 1320king, I like the color. I've linked mine as well. They are nice trail rigs for sure. |

Re: my tf2 build Looks great! I think I have that exact color on my D90. |
Re: my tf2 build got a little done today. I didn't like where the battery sits on the chassis so i moved it forward over the transmission using some old spoiler mounts from my drift car. this should help with weight on the front end as well. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...psfbe39762.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ps81a9c25d.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ps824a9876.jpg |
Re: my tf2 build Smart thinking on the battery mount! You might want to lose one of the two front bumpers. Looks a little weird otherwise. |

To the OP, I really like that color, nice choice. |

Re: my tf2 build I have both bumpers on mine but cut the outer bumper off right where it meets the chrome bumper. I have my winch mounted to the outer bumper. I think mine turned out really good. |
Re: my tf2 build You know you can adjust the outer bumper out some. It is adjustable. |
Re: my tf2 build I just posted mine in the photo archive if you want to see it. Its the sandy almond colored one on a sand pile. Such a fun truck. |
Re: my tf2 build i personally like how it looks with both bumpers. i took the factory one off to see if i liked it better but its too plain looking |

Re: my tf2 build made some progress on the tf2. moved the radio box onto the electronics plate. installed my rear 4 link set up and switched over to the axial style shock hoops for more articulation. waiting on my 3 link set up from rc4wd and im def going to put a set of better shocks on her. the stock ones are too short. any suggestions on what brand? I like to run a full droop set up http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ps9ad608f9.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ps31129a11.jpg |
