| question about ordering spare parts
I just got a TF2 from a guy off here and it's missing the cross member directly in front of the "REAR" bumper crossmember. who sells parts kits? Or does anyone have one laying around they might want to sell. It's the crossmember between the rear shock mounts and the rear bumper mount.

I don't see a part number for that cross brace, sounds like you're describing the receiver box mount. Looks like you may have to buy the chassis kit to get that brace, https://store.rc4wd.com/Trail-Finder...et_p_2213.html unless you can find it used. Good luck.

You could also cut a piece of aluminum rod to length, tap the ends, and drill/tap the mounting holes for the receiver box if you plan to mount the receiver there. Shouldn't be too hard to do. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I would definitely not recommend that combo. 5700 kv is going to give it way more speed than this platform can handle. If you go brushless, I'd suggest something in the 2000-2500 kv range on 2s, and you definitely want sensored to avoid cogging at low speeds. I initially tried a ROC 412 3100 kv combo on 2s. Once I got past the giggles in high gear, I quickly realized it was way too fast for this rig. I switched to the HH Crawlmaster 16T brushed (equivalent to 1850 kv), which is a much better fit. I may bump it up to a 13T, which is equivalent to a 2250 kv, but wouldn't try anything much faster than that. Good luck!
