Okay, this is just a FYI, if you're in a spot and you can't find what you need this may help. I broke a front axle shaft and the bearing on the outer end of the inner axle (which is a 5.5) got shredded at the same time. When I ordered bearings I accidentally ordered a bearing with a flange. When it showed up I thought that it would not be able to work. But when I went to the truck, I noticed a recess for a flanged bearing to work. I actually ended up putting it together with the flanged bearing and it works just fine. Hopefully this may be helpful in getting your trail finder 2 up and running quicker if you are at a hobby shop and they don't have the non flanged bearing you thought you had to have. |
