| Slowbro's TF2
Got my trailfinder Thursday and have been steadily putting it together. I almost have it done so I figured I would start a build thread I had one issue while assembling...I noticed the battery plate would not sit flat on the frame. The screws that hold on the mount for the shift servo were not flush in the plate so I drilled the countersink a little deeper and all was good My yota has an Allison transmission it sure is big enough to be one Roller I stole electronics from my wifes scaler and my Foff to put in it. Integy 55t rooster crawler esc spektrum A6030 steering servo hitec 5645 shift servo It is surprisingly fast in 2nd with the 55t Body color: Racing Blue Almost done, got to finish interior, windows, and some paint details I am going to paint black around the headlights, I think it will look better. 1st run on the rocks will be tomorrow so I should have some cool pics of it |

| Re: Slowbro's TF2 Thanks! It's not exactly what I was wanting but I like it a lot. Well universal broke after about 20min of total runtime...must have been a defect. I was expecting to have to replace the driveshafts...just not this soon. Oh well. I didn't get any pics of it today since I only drove it about 50yards before this happened. |

| Re: Slowbro's TF2 Thanks! I should have but figured I would give them a try. I have some stock Axial drive shafts with the reinforcing rings, I will give them a shot. Has anyone tried MIPS? Will they fit without modification? |

Used a stock axial driveshaft on the rear w/reinforcing rings. Also installed rings on front shaft...we shall see how long this lasts. Painted black around the headlights, I think it looks better Dash and decals Some outside pics: And first scratches...guess its not new anymore Got a video coming, its nothing special but will show speeds in both gears w/ 55t motor on 3s |

The truck looked awesome in person yesterday man. I hate you broke a drive shaft. Glad the Axial ones worked for you. |
